Welcome

As a parent you want the best for your child.  And as teachers, so do we.

We believe that the best education results when Christ is at the center of all we do, the Bible is our foundation and students learn through a whole child approach––nurturing their growth spiritually, academically, physically and socially.  We invite you to visit us and learn more about how this happens at our school.

MEMO

Greeting Parents,

As information for Hurricane Milton continues to make its way toward us and preparations are being made, we ask that you follow closely the warnings and announcements for Palm Beach County Schools. Our policy as a school is to follow the recommendations for storm closures that the County gives. Palm Beach County School District has announced that school will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday of this week and we will close on Friday as well. However, while school will be closed in person, we will meet virtually.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but in order to not disturb our learning and to keep our students on track, we will meet on Zoom from 8AM to 12PM for school. The students will be admitted into the Zoom Room and will be put in their respective classes to work with their teachers. We have sent the students home with their books and packets for work to cover the remainder of the week, just in case. If your child is unable to attend due to a lack of devices or power outages, they can continue to work using the packets and assignments sent home.

As such, please work with your child to attend virtually each day, if school closure is announced for the county. Please work with them to do their assignments and to be active so that they can continue to progress as needed.

The school will reopen in person on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, as Monday is Columbus Day, and there will be no school as scheduled.

We pray that you stay safe during the next few days as we prepare for heavy rainfall.

Yours in Christian Service,

BJA Administration
