About BJA

Bethel Junior Academy

Bethel Junior Academy is located on the campus of Bethel French SDA Church. In the summer of 1997, the dream to have a Seventh-day Adventist school for the community became a reality. Since then, God has provided the means for BJA to continue to exist, thrive, and serve during the course of these past 25 years. We know that God will be with us each step of the way, as we embark on the next 25 years.

Mission Statement

Our mission at Bethel Junior Academy is
1) To provide a well-structured and balanced education to all students, regardless of race, color, creed or religious affiliation
2) To foster respect for human value and diversity through a personal relationship and faith with Jesus
3) To nurture critical and independent thinking in a Christian environment

Our Philosophy

Bethel Junior Academy is 1 of 14 schools in the Southeastern Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. We seek to nurture thinkers rather than mere reflectors of others' thoughts; loving service rather than selfish ambition; maximum development of one's potential; and an appreciation for all that is beautiful, true and good. We do so by providing a balanced development of the whole person. As with all Adventist education, homes, school, and churches cooperate together with divine agencies in preparing learners for citizenship here on this earth and in the New Earth to come.
